This is a Jazz One Step written in 1920. The music is high energy, and a superb example of early jazz. The music was not published originally. This score is a transcription of the recording made by Green with the All Star Trio, for whom this piece was named. The original instrumentation was xylophone, saxophone, and piano, and I have added upright bass for a jazz quartet. The xylophone part works equally well on marimba.
